Unrequited Love

What a sad combination of words. Words that describe a lonely place in your heart. A place that urges one person to take notice. Only one person would make the world of difference - make a dry and hopeless seed evolve into a flower...

Yes, you read correctly the last time. I am in a two year relationship. What's that you say? I'm not entitled to, nor have any business talking about unrequited love? Not true. You see, I'm not talking about your everyday sorta love. I'm talking about loving someone from a distance, someone who doesn't even know you exist from a speck of dust. Yup, that's right. The love for celebs - in my case, Taylor Daniel Lautner.

I remember flipping through a magazine when the "Twilight" movie was still fresh, and there was a feature on Taylor Lautner as the new Hollywood heartthrb next to Robert Pattinson. "What's the hype for?" I wondered. I actually could not understand the obsession with Taylor Lautner. Little did I know I would become one of his biggets admirers - I firmly testify to that!

It all started one Saturday when I was surfing the TV channels and came across Saturday Night Live - the episode where Mr. Lautner was the youngest host in the history of Saturday Night Live. As I sat there in my pyjamas and a luke warm mug of coffee, I observed his personality, his amazing martial talents, his sense of humour and his leather jacket. I remember saying out loud, "Hey, he's actually kinda cute!"
Over the next few days I found myself downloading pictures of him and, before I knew it, I was hooked! Borrowing the "Twilight" and "New Moon" movies became top priority, and after watching it... well, let's just say I still watch his scenes when I'm alone, and of course, I bought my own copy of the Saga.

Even though my sisters think I'm going way overboard with my obsession, my eldest sister still bought me Taylor Lautner memoriblia over my birthday and Christmas. Truly the best presents ever!!! Hahaha...

I may sound like a typical teenager (which I would not deny), but Taylor Lautner serves a greater purpose than an obsession to me, believe it or not. Whenever I feel down, especially when my boyfriend and I have our quarrels, watching Taylor brings a smile to my face no matter what. He is the rare butterfly in my life... There for fleeting moments to make me forget about whatever may occur around me. I may never reach that butterfly, but it leaves a lasting impression in my world.

Until next time, keep flying :-)

A little bit about me

Being someone who loves literature so much, I really can't understand why I waited so long to create my Blog account. Well, I'm here now!

My profile will tell you a lot about me. As a lover of art, I enjoy viewing things differently to others and then sharing it, so if you're planning on following my blogs, prepare to view things differently! Here, I'll give you an idea: I'm a mixture of hard-rocker-gothic-chick, a butterfly maiden, a loud party-girl and shy to those whom I do not know very well. 'Nuf said.

I enjoy philosophical conversations as well as silly ones. I can pretty much entertain any topic that comes my way. Even though I have my own opinions, you can expect me to be the last person to judge you. I truly believe that we were all meant to view the world with our OWN two eyes.

Other than that, I have 3 amazingly beautiful and intelligent sisters whom I adore to bits. I love the fact that they support the kind of person I am (except at times when it comes to unhealthy obsession with Taylor Lautner!).
My parents are the main reason as to why I see things differently - we were given the freedom to ask questions if we felt that there should be an explanation for anything. Which is also why I am more spiritual than religious (I feel that rituals were completely man-made, and the symbolism should definitely be more important than the rituals themselves, and I think that many people fail to realise that).
I have a wonderful boyfriend, whom I have been with for roughly 2 and a half years. He is my bestfriend, my confidante and my shrink!

I am currently working at a mall in a jewellery store, and I have been there for just over a year. I happen to have two male bosses and a male college as well. Yup, sometimes they drive me crazy, especially when they talk about cars - at times it feels as though I had suddenly moved to Greece! :-)

I am also studying Photograhy part-time. My dream is to eventually have my own studio and meet loads of new people along the way of travelling the world. Oh, and Fashion Photograhy is probably what I would like to specialise in.

Remember, you may not notice butterflies all the time, but when you do, they're always beautiful ones - no matter what colour, shape or size. We are all butterflies in our own right... Until next time, Keep Flying ;-)
